It is undeniable that when the global travel restriction was lifted, many Filipinos look forward to going to the Land of the Rising Sun, not just to enjoy the winter but more so to explore the seemingly unlimited beautiful destinations across Japan.

Of course, for Filipino tourists, the travel to Japan will not be complete without the food trip adventure one can take advantage of, from ramen, sushi, sashimi, yakiniku, tonkatsu, soba and the famous beers Kirin, Sapporo and Asahi, among others.

And as to why many Filipinos fall in love with Japan is obviously because of the Japanese unparalleled friendliness, courtesy and sincerity. Dubbed as one of the safest countries in the world, many tourists are not worried when they forget something in restaurant, train station, or any public place. For as long as a Japanese finds a lost item, one can be assured to get it back.

On February 18, after almost 4 years of hiatus on its face-to-face event, Japan Fiesta 2023 was successfully staged and no less than Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Kazuhiko Koshikawa who graced the most awaited event at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.

Ambassador Koshikawa expressed his gratitude to see many people who joined the launching of Japan Fiesta and many there are several Japanese companies took part in this event to showcase not only Japanese products but also provided information about Japan tourism, culture, and other interesting information about Japan.

The Japanese envoy pointed out that the event will boost the tourism exchange between Japan and the Philippines. He also bared Japan’s effort to encourage more Japanese tourists to visit Philippines and invited Filipinos to visit Japan and learn more about Japanese culture.

Japan Fiesta 2023 is organized by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, Japan National Tourism Organization, The Japan Foundation-Manila, The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Philippines, Inc., and The Japanese Association Manila, Inc.

Several Japanese companies that joined Japan Fiesta 2023 like Nippon Premium Bakery Inc. maker of Fuwa Fuwa bread, Yakult Philippines, Salonpas Philippines, Key Coffee Philippines, OtaCutE, among others, and provided opportunities for Filipino people to know and appreciate more about Japanese products, culture and tourism.
