With 74 days before Christmas, prepping up for a holiday shopping list is something that is part and parcel of Filipino culture even in the midst of the pandemic.

As the government steps up its vaccination drive and the strict public health guidance implemented across the country has resulted in the decline of the COVID-19 cases. This has created excitement for the Overseas Filipinos Workers and Balikbayan to spend their holidays with their loved ones back in their home especially now that the quarantine measure spent in the accredited hotels was shortened from 10 days to fives days, meaning there is enough money to spend for shopping.

Aware of the influx of Filipinos coming to celebrate their Christmas, Duty Free Philippines (DFP) readies for the busiest shopping season with a special discount event. Shoppers are in for a delightful treat as the “Pre-Holiday Offers” will be participated in by globally renowned brands in Fashion and Beauty.  Huge savings await loyal patrons as most of the fashion, fragrances, health, cosmetics and beauty products will be offered with discounts up to 50%. Aside from this event, more exciting deals and exclusive bargains are ongoing in-store such as the Buy One Take One promos and Special Sale on a wide variety of merchandise.

This Pre-Holiday offer is happening on October 14-17, 2021 at Duty Free Philippines’ Luxe and Fiestamall stores. Luxe Duty Free is located at the MOA complex in Pasay City and is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 11am to 7pm., while the Fiestamall store in Paranaque City operates Thursdays to Sundays, 10am to 7pm.

The usual Customs policy on travel requirements upon registration is observed.  All standard health and safety protocols are strictly enforced to ensure everyone an enjoyable yet safe shopping environment.

As an attached agency of the Department of Tourism, DFP remains true to its mandate of catering to the shopping needs of international travelers despite the ongoing pandemic.  All these efforts are geared to further enhance the Tourism attached agency’s retail presence to augment revenues and continually contribute to government’s tourism programs and projects.
