Envoys and diplomats, business leaders, and distinguished guests gathered at Conrad Manila for its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony led by General Manager Rupert Hallam. This year’s celebration carried the theme “Bright Holidays and Brilliant Moments,” highlighting the spirit of unity, gratitude, and compassion that defines the festive season.

Among the attendees were the ambassadors of Singapore, Malaysia, India, Austria, and Brunei, as well as representatives from Brazil, Thailand, and other embassies. Prominent figures from the business community, including Elizabeth Sy, Hans Sy, Rita Dy, Peggy Angeles, and executives of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, also graced the event, along with select journalists and influencers who witnessed the hotel’s signature holiday tradition.

Conrad Manila’s grand lobby exuded elegance and splendor, adorned with sparkling crystal-inspired Christmas trees, golden reindeer, and gleaming ornaments, presenting a breathtaking tableau of the hotel’s refined aesthetic that Conrad global brand has been known for.

Meanwhile, Hallam expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Conrad Manila team and the hotel’s loyal patrons for their continued trust and support, noting its distinction as the Philippines’ Leading Conference Hotel for seven consecutive years. He also underscored the value of family, togetherness, and empathy, particularly for those affected by recent typhoons.

Culminating the evening was a spectacular performance by Bernie Pasamba & The Music Masters, featuring Lara Maigue, the UST Singers under choirmaster Fidel Calalang Jr., and Pasamba himself as conductor. Their repertoire—spanning Mozart’s The Magic Flute to Ryan Cayabyab’s Munting Sanggol—enchanted guests and envoys alike, offering a brilliant musical toast to the holiday season.
