Vantage Energy, the retail electricity supply affiliate of the Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Manila Electric Company (Meralco), has renewed its partnership with Bounty Plus Inc. (Bounty Plus) that ensures continued and reliable power supply to the latter’s facilities across Luzon.

Under the newly signed retail electricity supply agreement, Vantage Energy will deliver customized energy solutions tailored to meet the energy requirements of Bounty Plus’ poultry and broiler farms.

Vantage Energy’s offer of competitive rates to Bounty Plus will help boost the poultry company’s operational efficiency, performance, and market competitiveness. In addition, with the supply of renewable energy to Bounty Plus, it continues to solidify its sustainability commitment.

Bounty Plus, a key division of Bounty Fresh Group Holdings, oversees the operations of renowned brands such as Bounty Fresh and Chooks-to-Go.

The agreement between Vantage Energy and Bounty Plus covers seven facilities located in Bataan, Tarlac, and Pangasinan.

As the first company in the Philippines to receive the “Reared Without Antibiotics” certification from globally recognized assurance provider Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Inc., Bounty Plus underscores its commitment to responsible and sustainable farming, ensuring production of safe and healthy food for consumers.

“As our need for renewable energy continues to grow, Vantage Energy takes active steps to ensure that it is available to us. This shared commitment to renewable power is a bright spot in this partnership, which we hope will continue for years to come,” said Bounty Plus Senior Vice President and Deputy Agriculture Head, Carl Benedick Chung, during the signing of the agreement.

Vantage Energy, for its part, reiterated its commitment to support Bounty Plus’ critical operations with an energy supply built for scale, stability, and resilience — ultimately promoting sustainable growth.

“This venture strengthens our foundation for growth, and our commitment to delivering exceptionally superior services deepens while ensuring sustainable operations beneficial not only to Bounty Plus Inc. as an entity, but also to the communities we serve,” Vantage Energy President Ernesto M. Cabral said.
