This collaboration reflects our commitment to responsible business initiatives and sustainable practices.
This partnership aims to rescue surplus food of good quality, particularly from our hotel restaurant, to prevent waste, and feed and nourish vulnerable communities. By working alongside SOS Philippines, Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA aims to ensure that these surplus food items reach those in need, positively impacting our community.
Apart from that, food waste drives hunger not to mention other ramifications such as environmental impact as a result of waste in energy and water when food is grown, harvested, transported, and packaged. And if food goes to the landfill and rots, it produces methane—a greenhouse gas even more potent than carbon dioxide
