Buckle up as the 2023 Korean Film Festival (KFF), “Ka-ja! Korea Through Films”, gears to take you on an unforgettable cinematic journey.

From September 22 to 26, prepare to be swept away by the captivating allure of Korea’s finest movies. This annual event is proudly presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC), in collaboration with the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), SM Cinema, and the Korea Tourism Organization Manila Office (KTO).

Serving as the grand finale of the Korea Tourism Promotion month hosted by the KCC, this year’s KFF is all set to support the “Visit Korea 2023-2024” tourism campaign led by the Korean government. Get ready to immerse yourself in the heart and soul of Korea’s picturesque landscapes through the lens of seven captivating Korean films.

Prepare to be enthralled by a stunning lineup of award-winning films that have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Films such as the joyful musical movie “Life is Beautiful”, the black and white film “The Book of Fish” and an independent film “Bori”, and other dazzling movies like “Director’s Intention,” “Everglow,” “Gyeongju,” and “Jukdo Surfing Diary”.” Each of these cinematic gems was meticulously shot in breathtaking locations across Korea, such as Gangneung, Busan, Jeju, Gyeongju, Yangyang, Paju, and Sinan. It’ll be a complete top to bottom tour of the country after witnessing these films!

Lights, Camera, ACTION! Meet the Mentor Series

Prior to the festival’s kickoff, the KCC is bringing along its “Meet the Mentor” series, now joined by K-Movie Producers in partnership with De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB).

Prepare to be inspired by the masterminds behind the box-office sensation of 2022, “Life is Beautiful.” Join us in welcoming The Lamp CEO, Park Eunkyung, and Film Production Director, Lee Yeonhwa, for an insightful discussion on the art of producing Korean movies.
