Indian Embassy Manila to celebrate World Bicycle Day on June 2 in Quezon City

The Indian Embassy Manila invites the public and bike enthusiasts to join the fun and to celebrate World Bicycle Day on June 2, Sunday in Quezon City.
The assembly time is at 4:00 in the morning and the fun ride will start at 5:30AM and it will be a 20 kilometer bike parade.
World Bicycle Day is part of the commemoration of the 150 years of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, India’s Father of the Nation and an icon of sustainable living and the Embassy of India, Manila in partnership with the Quezon City Government, National Bicycle Organization, and other local partners in organizing the event to spread the message of “Bicycling for Sustainable Living”.
Bicycling is an environmentally sustainable means of transportation and it conveys a positive message for health and well being.
