Global hospitality group Accor gathered more than 300 General Managers from across Asia, alongside its global leadership team, for the Asia Leadership Conference 2026 held from February 3 to 5 at Novotel Manila Araneta City.
Carrying the theme “THRIVE,” the three-day conference served as a high-level strategy summit aimed at sharpening regional priorities, strengthening cross-market collaboration, and equipping leaders to deliver sustainable growth and high-performance results across Accor’s premium, midscale, and economy brands.
The programme combined forward-looking business updates, market outlooks, and operational deep-dives with interactive workshops and peer-led knowledge sharing. Key discussions centered on evolving tourism and hospitality trends, commercial performance, guest experience, talent development, and responsible hospitality — all critical drivers in Asia’s fast-changing travel landscape.
Senior Accor executives, industry specialists, and strategic partners shared practical insights and cross-border perspectives designed to enhance property-level execution and long-term competitiveness.
Garth Simmons, Chief Operating Officer for Accor’s Premium, Midscale & Economy Division in Asia, emphasized the importance of unified leadership.
“This conference brings together the leaders who shape guest experience and business performance every day. It is about rising above challenges, collaborating across borders and cultures, and turning shared knowledge into strong results. By investing in leadership, capabilities, and confidence, we are building hotels and teams where people, performance, and purpose thrive together — driving sustainable, long-term growth,” Simmons said.
A major highlight of the conference was the Asia Leadership Awards, recognizing outstanding hotel performance across key pillars:
