NephroPlus, Asia’s largest dialysis care network, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of seven new dialysis clinics across the Philippines. This strategic expansion increases its total footprint to 35 clinics, serving nearly 2,000 patients and reinforcing its commitment to high-quality, patient-centric care.
The newly acquired centers are located in Ibaan, Guimba, Cabiao, Carmona, Malasiqui, Lucena, and San Pablo. These locations mark new areas for NephroPlus to establish dialysis clinics in the Philippines, expanding access to care for Filipinos with end-stage renal disease.
This acquisition is part of NephroPlus’s broader international growth strategy, which recently included a joint venture in Saudi Arabia. With operations across five countries, NephroPlus is positioned as a global leader in specialized dialysis care, leveraging technology for remote monitoring, clinical data analytics and publishing outcomes in international forums.
NephroPlus has made significant investments to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes in the Philippines. These investments have created approximately 400 jobs across clinical and operational roles. Additionally, plans are underway to establish a training academy for dialysis nurses and technicians.
Commenting on this milestone, Mr. Vikram Vuppala, Founder and Group CEO of NephroPlus, stated, “This expansion aligns with our ambitious global growth roadmap. The Philippines, with its $200 million dialysis market and rising incidence of chronic kidney disease, presents a compelling opportunity. Our goal is to scale our proven dialysis care model, integrating innovation, operational excellence, and compassionate patient care to transform outcomes.”
With over 475 clinics across 270 cities worldwide, NephroPlus serves more than 32,000 patients monthly, dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes and setting benchmarks in clinical excellence. This expansion marks a significant step in its mission to provide hope and an improved quality of life for patients globally.
