Filipino nurses and healthcare workers ready to work in Japan, complete language training

The 16th Batch of Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement Nurse and Certified Careworker Candidates have just completed the Pre-Departure Japanese Language Training on May 24.

The virtual ceremony was attended by Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines, ENDO Kazuya.

As part of the pre-requisite to work in Japan as nurses and healthcare professionals, the completion of the Preparatory Japanese Language Training (PJLT) in the Philippines is needed under the Economic Partnership Agreement between Japan and the Philippines (JPEPA).

In his remarks, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya expressed his appreciation to the candidates for choosing Japan as their work destination. He also underscored the mastery of the Japanese language, coupled with the strong will to achieve it, as essential components for a successful future in Japan.
