Ambassador ENDO meets National Security Advisor Año, tackles Phl-Jpn bilateral relations

Prior to the enhanced regional maritime security cooperation in the West Philippine Sea with Japan, the United States, Australia, and the Philippines, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy call to the National Security Adviser of the Philippines, Eduardo Año on April 5 and discussed Japan and Philippine bilateral relations.

In the meeting, Ambassador ENDO said that he will work towards the realization of a peaceful and stable region, not only through Japan-Philippines cooperation but also through the trilateral cooperation with the U.S, referring to the Japan-U.S.-Philippines Trilateral Summit Meeting.

In response, NSA Año warmly welcomed Ambassador ENDO and expressed his desire to share wisdom and closely cooperate with each other in the increasingly important field of security.
