Intelligent Interweaving (i²) Technology
Mutoh’s patented Intelligent Interweaving printing technology, called i² (i-squared), is a revolutionary new way of laying down ink onto a substrate.
Whereas wide-format printers commonly lay down ink onto a substrate in a “straight line”, Mutoh’s intelligent interweaving technology will enable the printer to lay down the ink in a totally different way, e.g. in a “wave form pattern”.
The new i² printing technique will vastly reduce typical shortcomings inherently linked to inkjet printing, such as horizontal or vertical banding, missing or misfiring nozzles, step mismatch, mottle, etc.., since subsequent printing are seamlessly “interlaced”.
DropMaster Technology
Specifically developed for Mutoh’s dual head ValueJet models, DropMaster is a revolutionary print automation technique that eliminates the need for time-consuming media dependent head adjustments. DropMaster is capable of automatically recalculating and adjusting the uni / bi-directional fire timings. It does this regardless of resolution and print speed.
DropMaster assures the highest dot placement accuracy both uni and bi-directionally. Eliminates the need for individual head adjustments per individual media type. Automatically recalculates and adjusts the drop throw distance between the print heads and the media surface once the media thickness has been entered. The result is an overall increase of image definition, smoothness, and significant time savings.
VSM Mobile
VSM Mobile” a free application for mobile devices such as Android™ and iPhone, and the application is dedicated to MUTOH printer.
“VSM Mobile” enables to check the status of MUTOH printer connected to a local-area network, and the remote control will be available from your mobile devices.
Local Dimming Control (XperJet 461UF & 661UF)
The XpertJet 461UF and 661UF direct to object printers are equipped with a newly developed segmented 2” wide UV lamp. The UV lamp has 6 different sections. Each lamp section can be individually controlled, allowing the production of multiple varnish effects in the same print table movement.
Gloss, semi-gloss and matte varnish effects can be produced in one table movement for prints combining CMYK + Varnish or White + Varnish. The result is a substantial increase in productivity as well as a minimized risk off dust contamination onto glossy printed areas.
Variable Dot Technology
By adopting the high quality printhead, it incorporates 3 kinds of variable dot which are large medium, and small diameter so as to realize high quality, standard quality, and high-speed printing.
