Kevin Tan, CEO of Megaworld’s parent company Alliance Global Group, has vowed to support President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s tourism program.
“We are partners with the government in nation-building. And this remains our commitment to the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. We will continue to support the government’s programs, especially on tourism, as we build more developments all over the Philippines that will further help boost our country’s booming tourism industry,” Tan said at the company’s 35th anniversary celebration Wednesday night, June 26.
“We commit to build more townships in the provinces, enrich more lands across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and help generate more jobs for Filipinos in every township that we build,” he added.
First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos led the VIP guests who graced the company’s 35th anniversary celebration at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport City.
Tan thanked the First Lady for joining Megaworld’s milestone celebration. “Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your support and presence in all of our major events and activities throughout the years,” he said.
Tan thanked the partners, executives, and staff of the real estate giant known for pioneering the development of live-work-play townships.
“To the men and women of Megaworld, thank you for all your contribution, for your hard work and dedication in bringing our company to where it is today. You, together with our partners who are with us here tonight, are part of the continuing fulfillment of our lasting vision to uplift lives, impact society, and help shape the nation. All of the things that we do are not just for our business,” he said.
Other VIP guests were PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tenco, Alliance Global Group chairman Dr. Andrew L. Tan, and Megaworld president Ms. Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso.
