The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manila and Indonesian Diaspora Network Chapter Philippines proudly presents this spectacular event on May 18-20, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM at the Indonesian Embassy grounds, 185 Salcedo Street Legaspi Village, Makati City.
Indonesia Bazaar 2023 carries the theme of “Pesta Rasa Nusantara” which means “Indonesian Flavors Festival”. With around 30 tents set up outdoors, this Bazaar is not going to be your typical market but a hub for everyone, Indonesians, expats and Filipinos alike, who enjoy gastronomical adventure and great deals in shopping. A variety of engaging activities have been prepared for the visitors such as Photobooth Contest, cooking demo, fun games, live band performances, and Zumba session. The Bazaar also offers an informative health seminar and free health screenings to ensure your well-being.
Indonesia Bazaar is an annual event initiated by the Indonesian Diaspora in the Philippines, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia since 2017. The event aims to create awareness of the fast-growing Indonesian Community in the Philippines that promotes Indonesian products and services. It was put on a halt in 2020 during the pandemic and it’s making a comeback this year with a bang!
The Bazaar will be inaugurated by the Indonesian Ambassador, H.E. Agus Widjojo. The Embassy hopes that while developing their entrepreneurship and business, Indonesian Diaspora could also become agents of promotion of Indonesia in the Philippines. The Embassy stands ready to support Indonesian diaspora’s activities in optimizing and empowering their potentials. Indonesia Bazaar 2023 is supported by PT Kalbe International, Glorious Dexa Mandaya. Inc, and Vouno Trade and Marketing Services Corp. (Mayora). These 3 Indonesian companies have already entered the Philippines market with their well known products since 2009, 2004 and 2007 respectively.
