State-owned Duty Free Philippines an attached agency of the Department of Tourism reaches its milestone as it gears up to celebrate its 34th anniversary. Despite operating in challenging times, Duty Free Philippines Chief Operating Officer Vicente Pelagio Angala said, there will be a month-long sale at its biggest malls, the Fiestamall in Paranaque City and Luxe Duty Free at the MOA complex in Pasay City will showcase the most popular brands from its extensive merchandise mix.

Speaking to THEPHILBIZNEWS, the Chief Operating Officer of Duty Free Philippines said, “Yes we are operating under the new normal now. This is really challenging but on the brighter side, we should be grateful for being alive and healthy and this journey has taught us a lot of good things to consider.”

“With the government already allowing foreigners to visit the Philippines, we want to take advantage of this and we will slash the prices up to 50% beginning May 2 until 31, 2021 to celebrate Duty Free Philippines’ 34th year,” he added.

DFP is committed as ever to marking their anniversary celebration with this big sale to thank customers for their continued patronage despite the hardships caused by the COVID19 pandemic. “Our Anniversary Sale will afford our loyal customers, balikbayans and OFWs, the chance to shop for their pasalubong essentials while at the same time making huge savings,” said Vicente Pelagio Angala, DFPC Chief Operating Officer.

More than 100 fashion brands and over 40 brands of electronics and appliances are offering huge discounts. “Our customers have always looked forward to this event hence despite DFP’s predicament due to the pandemic, we cannot forego of this chance to give back and allow our shoppers to purchase their wished-for items at such low prices,” added Angala.

DFP’s stores comply with IATF’s safety guidelines and health protocols, hence customers are always assured of a safe and convenient shopping environment.
