Proving that having an efficient business permit application would bring more business and create positive impression, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary and Ease of Doing Business – Anti Red Tape Authority Council Chairman Ramon Lopez show that the Philippines can and ready to embark on this.
The City of Valenzuela introduced the 10 seconds business permit application processing in order to address the clamor for quick and efficient business application processing in the city.
Led by the Trade Chief and ARTA Chairman Lopez, the Paspas Permit which will allow entrepreneurs to register, process, renew, and pay business permit applications in Valenzuela City through an online system within 10 seconds.
Launched last November 12, at the Valenzuela City Hall to showcase the city’s innovative move to be the first local government unit to have an end-to-end integrated business permit application system.
Also integrated in the system is online payments which make it a lot easier and hassle free because permits can be delivered at home through courier or Grab Express.
Sec. Lopez lauded the city government led by Mayor Rex for being a trailblazer in ease of doing business. The Paspas Permit is a new initiative under Valenzuela City’s 3S (Simple Speed Service) Plus online services, which include application and services of the Business Permit and Licensing Office, Assessor’s Office, Treasurer’s Office, Office of the Building Official, and the Local Civil Registry.
