With one month to go, the best in livestock industry will converge in the upcoming Livestock Philippines 2019.
 
Interestingly, the livestock production in the Philippines has posted a 1.25 percent growth and contributed to 17.11 percent to the total agricultural production.
 
Higher outputs were recorded for cattle, hog and dairy. The gross value of livestock production amounted to PhP 75.4 billion at current prices or 0.25 percent lower from last year’s level.
 
The Production of poultry increased by around 5.41 percent during the first quarter of 2019 and it shared 16.74 percent in the total agricultural output. While all poultry commodities exhibited production gains. At current prices, the gross value of poultry production amounted to PhP 55.4 billion, a decline by 3.66 percent this period.

More than the exhibits that would showcase the best in the industry, the biggest livestock-focused convention will also feature new technologies in the livestock raising and management, veterinary science, including feeds for hogs, will be discussed and exhibited.
