Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Philippines set to kick off on December 6
Tomorrow, December 6, 2018, the second Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Philippines by Smile-Expo is the biggest event in the growing FinTech industry in the Philippines.
The first Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference held in the Philippines was a resounding success that was attended by 300 guests, supported by and had top speakers from big corporations like Microsoft Philippines.
This years, the crème de la crème in the crypto world will tackle relevant and hot issues on this revolutionized technology of Blockchain and Bitcoin, their usage and how it would make the life of individual and also corporations easier by adopting this technology that is beyond compare and dubbed as the greatest invention of the century.
Interestingly, one of the founders and CCO at Satoshi Citadel Industries (SCI), Miguel Cuneta, will deliver the speech “You Probably Don’t Need Blockchain For It.” And in his talk, the expert will extensively explain which businesses don’t require DLT and can work with the standard database.
On the other hand, Rafael Padilla will become a participant of the panel discussion about crypto and legal agreements. The expert is one of the establishers of Blockchain Association of the Philippines (BAP). The organization disseminates the crypto knowledge and unites DLT developers to increase promotion of the technology’s global integration.
While, Luis Buenaventura, Chief Technology Officer at BloomSolutions will deliver the presentation about “Fintech Application in Southeast Asia.” BloomSolutions aims at transforming remittance, and since establishment, its total volume has surpassed $125 million as of March 2018.
Tagcash Founder, Mark Vernon, will explain what are the private blockchains with the help of use cases from MultiChain and Stellar. He will also discuss interbank settlement, data storage and international remittance.
