The Philippines’ long standing and the only remaining food magazine that promotes great food, awesome places for dining, superb hotels and other products and services takes pride on their 18th Year in the food magazine industry.
For the past 8 years, COOK Magazine has been holding an annual thanksgiving party for their advertisers, columnists and friends. And this year’s celebration, “Slumber Ball – A High Gloss Pajama Party”, was conceptualized by the COOK team to provide our guests with a relaxed and fun-filled atmosphere. The theme reflects the working environment at COOK – laid-back, filled with dreamy food and recipes, and lots of fun and laughter to share with everyone.
While all other publications on food have folded up as years go by, COOK Magazine admits the continues challenge they encounter in publishing a monthly magazine. Through the years, COOK Magazine has built its credibility and integrity to their advertisers and readers to bring in only deserving quality products that the country has to offer to their existing and potential markets. But keeping on the top and standing as the lone food magazine in the country isn’t a walk in the park. The 18 years in the industry was credited to Cook Magazine’s advertisers and readers and this is a living testimony that when you do what you love, it won’t ever feel like work.
The yearly thanksgiving celebration is an opportunity for COOK Magazine management team to personally thank all of their advertisers for their continued support of COOK through the years and the highlight of the evening is the awarding of all the top advertisers. It also gives the COOK team a chance to introduce ourselves, along with our columnists and contributors – everyone involved in making COOK Magazine what it is. As the longest running and only monthly culinary magazine in the country today, COOK Magazine outlasted the trends, the ups and downs, even the shift to other platforms. This make them truly proud of this achievement but they know that without all the support from advertisers and friends in the industry, COOK Magazine wouldn’t exist, and thus COOK Magazine says, THANK YOU!
As a simple way of showing their gratitude, COOK Magazine is sharing with everyone the very thing that has fuelled COOK Magazine’s 18 years – the love for food.
In this momentous occasion, COOK Magazine expresses deepest gratitude to the generosity of House Manila, for again providing with an awesome venue. To top it all, COOK’s very own Editor-in-Chief, Chef Dino Datu has prepared something for our guests, courtesy of Canadian Beef.
COOK Magazine has also expressed equal gratitude and acknowledgement to the generosity of their caterers.

COOK Magazine also would like to thank their friends who generously provided drinks in the dazzling night of the “Slumber Ball” who unlimitedly filled the glasses with drinks of the merrymakers coming from Lick Iced Tea, Coffee from the Illy booth, Gato Negro Wines and the Open Bar of House Manila.
To add excitement and share the blessings, COOK Magazine celebration will not be complete without giving away prizes to the lucky winners.
