In the analysis of documents found during operational activities in the Gaza Strip, that the spokesperson for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Zabar Tafesh Bassal, is also an active terrorist in the Hamas terrorist organization.

The terrorist, Bassal, has served as the spokesperson for the Civil Defense for an extended period of time and abuses his role by spreading false and unverified information to the international media, while falsely attributing war crimes to Israel and by presenting fabricated data. This information receives global media exposure and has caused a severe distortion of the reality on the ground.

The documents now being revealed prove unequivocally: Mahmoud Saber Tafesh Bassal is a terrorist in the Hamas terrorist organization who, as part of his role, serves the purposes of psychological warfare and propaganda.
The IDF calls on media outlets to exercise caution regarding unverified information published by the Hamas terrorist organization and, in particular, by Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip.

In his statement he said, “The right of Israel to defend itself and its citizens against acts of terror is unequivocal and non-negotiable. Every sovereign nation has the inherent duty to protect its citizens, and Israel is no exception. Any attempts to undermine this right are an affront to the principles of self-defense and national security.”

“We call for the immediate and unconditional release of the Palestinian people and all of the hostages from the oppressive grip of Hamas. The Hamas terrorist group has repeatedly demonstrated its disregard for human rights, is using its citizens as human shields and has been responsible for countless acts of violence against innocent civilians, including Filipinos.”

The international community must take decisive action against Hamas, designating it as a terror organization to disrupt its funding, which comes primarily from Iran. The founding charter of Hamas, advocating for Israel’s destruction and the murder of all Jews from all over the world, aligns with a modern Nazi regime. Rejecting peace negotiations, Hamas perpetuates an endless cycle of violence and bloodshed.

Contrary to misconceptions and false information, Israel is not occupying Gaza; the war is with the terrorist organization Hamas, not the Palestinian people. Israel is not occupying Gaza and has no plans of occupying Gaza. Unfortunately Hamas is the government of Gaza.

We demand the immediate release of all hostages – including babies, women, and elderly people – and the dismantling of terror facilities threatening not only the safety and security of Israeli citizens, but also the world, including the Philippines.

There were about 1000 people who participated in October 22 to show their support for Israel in the Philippines. The event was attended by Israelis, Filipinos, Jews and Christians all together in solidarity with the State of Israel.

A convoy of vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles with Israeli flags, t-shirts and blue and white balloons passed through the main streets of Metro Manila, ending its route with an impressive ceremony at the Israel-Philippine Friendship with marker in Quezon City.

Adding to their voice, they emphasize, “during the attack, Hamas kidnapped hundreds of Israeli soldiers and
civilians, including children aged between 6 months and 18 years. Children should never
be regarded as pawns in the theater of war.”

The Nobel laureates are united in their moral demand for the immediate release of these kidnapped children. They assert, “The soul of a child differs from that of an adult. It is our sacred duty to protect the innocent and shield the vulnerable. It is our sacred duty to save our children. The distressing images and words we witness today evoke memories of darker times, times that we, humanity as a collective, had hoped to leave behind.”

The petition signatories unequivocally declare that the abduction and imprisonment of children is a war crime and a profound moral injustice against humanity as a whole. Their message concludes with a resounding demand: “Let The Children Go.”

Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan: “Following the barbaric massacre conducted by Hamas, which tragically claimed the lives of children, women, and the elderly, the UN appears to have strayed from its core mission to prevent and combat horrors and war crimes. The UN has seemingly overlooked the suffering of Israeli citizens, including the abduction of innocent children and babies. This represents the UN’s final opportunity to demonstrate its relevance and humanity. I implore the Secretary-General to awaken to the profound significance of the lives of abducted children, to the point where their well-being resonates deeply within him, and that he is unwavering in his commitment to prioritizing the innocent children kidnapped by terrorists over aiding those in Gaza who support the terrorists barbaric violence. The Nobel laureates serve as an impassioned moral compass, and I earnestly implore him to wholeheartedly heed their message.”

This unprecedented petition has been presented by Professor Daniel Kahneman, representing the Nobel laureates, and Alana Zeitchik and Liam Lindsay, relatives of abducted 3 year old twins Emma and Julie and 5 year old Amelia, representing the families of the kidnapped children.
