A gift need not be always a material item. It can be time, effort, or even just plain entertainment. Apart from being the Christmas season, December has always been about friends, family, and celebration in the Philippines. Since a good number of cinema houses remain inaccessible and outside events remain impossible due to the pandemic, Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC) will once again bring the big screens to the Filipino homes.

KCC, together with the Film Development Council of the Philippines, Viva International Pictures, its official online media partner Inquirer.net and Pop and its official telecommunications partner, Smart and Smart K-Life, has put together four highly-rated films about family and fantasy for the Filipinos to enjoy for free during the holidays.

“Dream: A Family Fantasy Special” is KCC’s final offering for 2020. Similar to the previous film events, the Dream screening will stream for free for viewers in the Philippines via the KCC website http://phil.korean-culture.org/ from December 19 to 25, 2020.

Movie fans can watch the following as many times as they like during the screening period: Luck Key (럭키) starring Yu Hae-JinLee Joon, Wonderful Nightmare (미쓰 와이프) starring Uhm Jung-HwaSong Seung-Heon, Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds (신과함께: 죄와 벌) featuring Cha Tae-HyunHa Jung-WooJu Ji-Hoon, and Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days (신과함께-인과 연) headlining Kim Dong-WookHa Jung-WooJu Ji-Hoon.

Still part of Korea at Home campaign, which aims to bring unique and accessible Korean culture and content to the Filipinos even while at the comforts of their own home, “Dream: A Family Fantasy Special” is the final online film screening organized by KCC this 2020.

“Dream” screening comes right on the heels of the November screening titled “화합 Harmony: A Special Screening on Hope and Love” and the 2020 Korean Film Festival last September. All of this film screenings have shifted to the online platform due to the restrictions brought about by the pandemic.

Catch “Dream: A Family Fantasy Special” for free at http://phil.korean-culture.org/ from December 19 to 25, 2020.
