Taking out all the anxieties and uncertainties of the employees as the country faces one of the biggest challenges, Duty Free Philippines Chief Operating Officer Vicente “Vico” Angala assured their employees that salaries and compensations will continue.
In a statement sent to THEPHILBIZNEWS last March 20, 2020, the Duty Free Philippines COO made a clear and assuring message to all their employees that they will continually receive their salaries and compensation as well as the implementation of safety precautionary measures in light of the COVID-19 situation in the country.
“I am confident that our unity and solidarity amid crisis will help us overcome COVID-19. Sama-sama nating malalampasan ang pagsubok na ito.”
The DFS employees commended this move by Angala, and joined him in prayers that the country and the Filipino people will soon overcome this and move back to normal life as the government continues to do all its best to mitigate the growing number of COVID19 incident in the country.
