PHINMA Properties is accelerating Bacolod’s urban expansion through strategic development at Saludad Township, signaling strong investment potential in the city’s emerging North District.

As Bacolod grows beyond its traditional commercial core, Saludad is positioning itself at the heart of one of the city’s fastest-developing corridors. The 21-hectare master-planned township recently reached two key milestones: the signing of a Joint Venture Agreement and the groundbreaking of TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod, moving the project from blueprint to tangible economic impact.

“Today marks a meaningful step forward, not only for Saludad but for Bacolod’s next chapter of growth. Saludad, PHINMA’s first township development, is co-developed with Bacolod-based JEPP Real Estate Co., with a master plan by Royal Pineda+ Architecture·Design. The township integrates residential, commercial, hospitality, educational, and open spaces, creating a self-sustaining urban ecosystem attractive to investors, businesses, and residents alike.

A key highlight is the Joint Venture Agreement between PHINMA Hospitality Inc., operator of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in the Philippines, and JEPP Property Corporation for TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod. The groundbreaking marks the start of vertical construction for the internationally recognized hotel brand, reinforcing Saludad’s appeal as a destination for tourism, business travel, and regional economic activity.

Strategically located along the Bacolod–Silay Airport Access Road, Saludad benefits from improved connectivity, growing infrastructure, and Bacolod’s expanding urban footprint. Supported by PHINMA Corporation’s diversified presence in education, hospitality, construction, and property management, the township is built on a solid foundation for long-term value creation and investor confidence.

These developments underscore Bacolod’s North District as a rising investment hub, with Saludad Township leading the way as a model for sustainable urban growth and economic opportunity.
