The Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Manila Electric Company (Meralco) posted its strongest performance yet at the prestigious 2025 International Business Awards (IBA), emerging as one of the most decorated companies among more than 3,800 nominations from over 70 countries.
The power distributor brought home five Gold Stevie® Awards for standout leadership in sustainability, innovation, and stakeholder engagement:

Meralco Powerhouse was celebrated for reigniting investor confidence by showcasing the company’s operational strength, growth trajectory, and purpose-driven leadership. - Sustainability Hero of the Year – Asia, Australia, New Zealand
Chief Sustainability Officer Raymond B. Ravelo was honored for integrating sustainability into core operations and steering it as a driver of inclusive growth.
