True to its commitment to support sustainable development, GH Tower boats its recent recognition as San Juan’s first LEED Gold-certified prime office, marking a major step in Ortigas Land, Inc.’s vision for future-ready estates and setting a new standard for smart urban design.
The 15-storey tower in Greenhills Center has officially been awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), placing it among the country’s top-tier sustainable office building designed for enterprise-grade performance and long-term environmental value.
The certification reinforces Ortigas Land’s commitment to raising green standards across its master-planned communities—and positions GH Tower as a compelling choice for forward-looking companies seeking sustainable, well-connected workspaces in Metro Manila.
“Achieving LEED Gold for GH Tower reflects our long-term vision to deliver purpose-led, sustainable developments that enable communities and businesses to thrive,” said Jose Emmanuel ‘Junie’ Jalandoni, President and CEO of Ortigas Land. “As we continue to redevelop Greenhills Center into a vibrant mixed-use district, GH Tower raises the bar for responsible, high-impact urban development.”
Positioned at the heart of Greenhills Center, GH Tower offers more than just a prime location. The building integrates environmental performance with enterprise-grade efficiency, delivering a flexible 2,800 sqm floor plate, optimized energy use, and sustainable water management systems. It is surrounded by over 1,000 retail and dining options, with direct access to GH Mall, 4,000 estate-wide parking slots, and commuter- and cyclist-friendly infrastructure, including bike lanes and shower facilities.
“GH Tower is designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s tenants—combining operational efficiency, locational advantage, and environmental responsibility,” added Javier D. Hernandez, Head of the Office Business Unit at Ortigas Land. “This milestone signals our readiness to support businesses seeking spaces that reflect their values and ambitions.”
Elevating the Standard for Green Workspaces
Initially launched in 2022 with a LEED Silver target, GH Tower exceeded its sustainability goals through enhanced design, material choices, and operational systems. On April 10, 2025, the U.S. Green Building Council officially conferred LEED Gold certification, following an independent, performance-based review under its internationally recognized green building standards.
Among the building’s most notable sustainability features:
● A 100% double Low-E glass curtain wall façade that improves insulation, reduces energy demand, and enhances natural lighting
● Power sourced from renewable energy contracts, contributing to lower carbon emissions and operational costs
● Efficient plumbing systems and rainwater harvesting to reduce water consumption and irrigate landscaped areas
● An integrated greywater recycling system, enabling responsible reuse across building operations
● Commuter- and cyclist-friendly amenities, including bike lanes, showers, and landscaped pedestrian zones that support healthier daily routines
LEED-certified buildings like GH Tower are designed not only to reduce emissions and conserve resources, but also to support long-term cost efficiency—using up to 25% less energy, emitting 34% less carbon, and diverting millions of tons of waste from landfills, according to USGBC data.
Complementing its green architecture, GH Tower also benefits from a vibrant mixed-use environment—with over 250 retail and dining options, direct connection to GH Mall, and 4,000 estate-wide parking slots—bringing together environmental responsibility and locational value in one future-ready address.
