The World Coconut Congress (WCC) returns to the Philippines after seven years, uniting global coconut stakeholders from September 24–26, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. With the theme “Future-Proofing the Coconut,” the WCC 2025—held alongside the Sustainable Coconut Roundtable (SCR) 2025—aims to strengthen the industry’s resilience, profitability, and sustainability amid environmental, economic, and geopolitical challenges.
Organized by the United Coconut Associations of the Philippines (UCAP) in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), the congress will feature high-level plenary sessions, sustainability roundtables, business-matching activities, and a curated exhibition of cutting-edge coconut innovations. The Sustainable Coconut Partnership (SCP) will lead plenaries on global sustainability efforts, inclusive growth, and practical training sessions for industry professionals.
The event will gather producers, processors, exporters, researchers, policymakers, and investors from across the global coconut value chain, supported by the International Coconut Community (ICC) and the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB). Highlights include cooking demonstrations by top chefs, the inaugural Keto Conference PH, and a familiarization tour to Quezon Province—one of the Philippines’ leading coconut-producing regions.
“The Congress is a venue for collaboration, innovation, and long-term strategy to secure the future of the coconut industry—not just for national economies, but for the millions of farmers and communities who depend on it,” said Marco C. Reyes, UCAP Chairman.
