Vantage Energy, an affiliate retail electricity supplier (RES) of Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Manila Electric Company (Meralco), has entered into a deal to power the operations of Bohol Quality Corporation (BQC), one of the major retail institutions in Bohol.
Vantage Energy and BQC signed a retail electricity supply agreement that covers the provision of reliable and cost-competitive power to BQ Mall – a legacy retail site in Tagbilaran City, the capital of Bohol. This marks a significant step toward modernizing the energy structure of the facility and supporting BQC’s long-term operational goals.
BQC President Raymund G. Ong said that, as an established commercial center, BQ Mall has always prioritized dependable retail service to the Boholano community: “This energy partnership ensurestradition and exceptional service with improved reliability and sustainability.
As this marks Vantage Energy’s first venture in our province, we look forward to the growth, innovation, and opportunitiesour partnership will bring.”
BQC, established in the 1945, has played a long-standing role in the province’s retail sector. Now, ithas evolved into an institution that has remained rooted in community service while adapting to the changing demands of a modern consumer landscape.
