One rainy evening last week, something extraordinary warmed both the soul and the senses. At a special media night, Ramen Ron’s Chef Tamura Hiroyuki teamed up with San Miguel Brewery Inc. to deliver a culinary experience that reimagined comfort food: ramen and beer pairings.

For a limited time, diners at Ramen Ron Rockwell and Bonifacio Global City can enjoy a curated lineup of hearty ramen bowls, each thoughtfully paired with a San Miguel Premium Beer. The result? A match made in rainy-day heaven.

Chef Tamura masterfully paired each dish with one of four San Miguel Premium Beers—Super Dry, Premium All-Malt, Cerveza Negra, and Cerveza Blanca—achieving perfect harmony between rich umami and refreshing brews. Here’s what to expect:

Aburasoba × San Miguel Super Dry

This “soupless” ramen is bold and flavorful: thick noodles tossed in tare sauce, topped with pork chashu cubes, bamboo shoots, spring onions, nori, and sesame seeds. It’s hefty, satisfying, and made even better by the crisp, hoppy finish of San Miguel Super Dry that cuts through the richness.

Seafood Ramen × San Miguel Premium All-Malt

Briny, comforting, and layered with ocean flavors, this bowl features shrimp, squid, kani sticks, and clams in Ramen Ron’s signature “silky fowl” miso broth. The slightly sweet, full-bodied Premium All-Malt beer enhances every sip and slurp.

Ukokkei Shio-Mansi Chashu Ramen × San Miguel Cerveza Blanca

A surprising star, this light yet flavorful bowl features Ramen Ron’s signature broth infused with salt and calamansi, crowned with thick-cut chashu, bamboo shoots, mizuna greens, and calamansi jelly. Paired with the citrusy, slightly smoky Cerveza Blanca, it’s refreshingly complex.
