On May 20, the European Union passed another sanctions package against Russia, the seventeenth since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Trap Aggressor sends to THEPHILBIZNEWS the new list that includes identities 17 individuals and 58 legal entities, as well as 189 vessels involved in the transportation of oil, weapons or stolen Ukrainian grain. Among the figures are 15 companies and individuals who appeared in their investigations and analytical reports.

Sergey Kogogin, Director of KAMAZ

Kogogin is the General Director of PJSC KAMAZ, a Russian developer and manufacturer of automobiles and military equipment. It produces the KAMAZ-5350, KAMAZ-6350 and KAMAZ-6560 vehicles used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the war against Ukraine. During a full-scale war, PJSC KAMAZ is working at the limit of its capacity to fulfil all orders for weapons. In April 2022, the company also published a video using the symbol “Z”, expressing support for the war in Ukraine.

Mile Hao Xiang Technology Co., Ltd is a Chinese donor of drones for the Russian Federation

A Chinese company that provides the Russian military and defence industry with components for military drones, including for use in Ukraine. It is also involved in developing, producing and supplying military technologies and equipment.

Dmitry Kuzyakin and his Center for Complex Unmanned Solutions

Kuzyakin’s company Center for Complex Unmanned Solutions specializes in the production and combat use of FPV drones. Among the most famous are Joker-10 and Ultimatum. The centre also trains operators for these devices.

Konstantin Nikolaev – a war sponsor hiding behind his wife

Nikolaev is a Russian businessman with business interests in the Russian military-industrial complex. In particular, he owns shares in the Russian companies Promtekhnologiya, ScanEx, and Tula Cartridge Plant. These companies cooperate with the Russian military and intelligence services, supplying them with military equipment that was used in Russia’s war against Ukraine. Nikolaev hides his ownership and interest in these companies, including by appointing his wife Svetlana Nikolaeva to visible management positions. Moreover, through his companies, he has financed groups of Russian mercenaries fighting in Ukraine.

Turbo King and NPO Rostar

Turbo King and NPO Rostar import various products for PJSC KAMAZ. This is stated in the description of most import declarations. These two companies, according to trade databases, purchase spare parts and raw materials of European production from the Austrian PowerLine Automotive GmbH. In 2023 alone, the Austrians supplied goods worth over $2.5 million to Turbo King and almost $250,000 to NPO Rostar.

Ryazan Radio Plant – a silent link in Russian communications

It is a manufacturer of radio communications equipment used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and a manufacturer of systems that provide encrypted communications for military units. The plant also produces equipment for civilian and emergency use aimed at increasing military communications capabilities. The company cooperates with the Russian Ministry of Defense and other law enforcement agencies and also fulfils state defence orders.

ANO NPC Ushkuynik: drones for war

It is a developer of electronic warfare equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles and other means of airspace control. The centre has been accredited by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and is engaged in the production of innovative drones. It produces the Prince Vandal Novgorodsky and the Osoed interceptor drone.

Design Bureau Microb: FPV for the Russian Army

It is a Russian enterprise that produces FPV unmanned aerial vehicles for the Russian Army. In 2024, the company announced plans to supply 3,000 UAVs equipped with an autopilot with artificial intelligence. In August 2024, the Microb-10 UAV was successfully used by operators of the 35th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 41st Army against a Ukrainian tank.

Scientific and Production Association Rustekhdron

It is one of the main developers and manufacturers of unmanned aircraft systems in Russia which supplies products to the Russian Ministry of Defense. Its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), namely the RTD-4M and the Inferno UAVs, are used by the Russian army in the war against Ukraine.

Avbis and European machine tools for the Russian military

The company is engaged in wholesale trade in electrical goods and imports equipment used by the Russian military-industrial complex from abroad. Avbis imported German Spinner machine tools to Russia to implement a program to increase the production of high-explosive fragmentation shells for Russian tanks.

Volzhskoye Parokhodstvo Shipping Company – Oil Circumventing Sanctions

It is one of the leading Russian shipping companies. Its vessels transport crude oil and petroleum products by sea, in particular for export. The energy sector, especially the oil and gas industry, provides the main income of the Russian government.

Stratim – FPV drones of the new generation

The company is engaged in the development of FPV and aircraft-type UAVs that do not require firmware, operate on non-commercial frequencies, and also use a repeater to increase the control range and video channels.

JSC Soedinitel – the cable artery of war

The enterprise develops and produces connectors, as well as special cable assemblies designed to work in aggressive and corrosive environments, which can be subjected to high pressure and significant temperature drops.

Trap Aggressor previously told how Russia is also building raw material autonomy for war in the investigation.
