As Ascott Limited Philippines celebrates 25 years of excellence in hospitality, it expands its horizons in the five countries of Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
Loven Ramos, The Ascott Limited’s Director for Brand and Marketing, shared that as part of the silver anniversary celebration, they are launching the “Horizons” campaign.
“Horizons is a simple yet beautifully profound word—not only does it represent the line where the ocean or the Earth’s surface appear to meet the sky, but it also symbolizes the unknown, the limitations, and at the same time, the endless possibilities and pure potential framed only by the bounds of our imagination,” Ramos said.
For Ascott, Horizons is not just about the future; it’s about the stories of guests who have found a home in its properties. Whether it’s expats, families on vacation, or business travelers, Ascott has become a trusted haven where memories are made, and comfort is a priority.
Expanding to Siargao, other places
Ascott’s expansion in the Philippines continues, with an impressive portfolio of 16 operating properties and 14 more in the pipeline. The company has set ambitious goals, aiming to have 30 properties and 6,000 keys by 2028. In line with its expansion, Ascott is opening Somerset properties in Valero Makati and Gorordo Cebu this year.

Patrick Vaysse, country general manager, said Ascott is opening six different preference hotels in five different countries. He added that Ascott’s upcoming preference hotel in Siargao, scheduled to open in 2027, will focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and local architectural inspiration that reflects the beauty and culture of Mindanao.
True to its core values, Ascott is incorporating sustainability into its future developments. As Vaysse highlighted, the Siargao hotel will not only be a luxury escape but will integrate eco-friendly practices to minimize its environmental footprint.
“Many elements from Siargao’s island will reflect its pristine beauty and the culture of Mindanao, highlighting the vernacular architecture representing tropical breeze, natural light, and comfort,” Ramos said.
Ascott is also set to enhance its dining and beverage (F&B) offerings, integrating them into the popular Ascott Star Rewards (ASR) loyalty program, which has been a key part of the brand’s success. The loyalty program offers members exclusive rewards and perks, making it easier for guests to enjoy the finest dining experiences and discounts at various Ascott properties.
Celebrating Horizons with special offers
To mark its 25th anniversary, Ascott is offering special rewards for guests. Members of the ASR program can enjoy 25,000 points when they stay at any of Ascott’s five brands—Ascott, Citadines, Lyf, Oakwood, and Somerset—from March 15 to December 31, 2025. For families, Ascott properties offer special perks such as free breakfast and accommodations for children, making it a great choice for family getaways.
“Our celebration theme, Horizons, encapsulates the essence of Ascott’s commitment to creating boundary-pushing brands and memorable experiences that make every guest feel the essence of home, no matter where they are,” Ramos said.
