Leading fiber broadband and technology solutions provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. sees continued robust growth for its enterprise business after revenues increased by 26% year-on-year to P 2.5 billion during the first half of the year on the back of the company’s expansion into new areas, particularly in Visayas and Mindanao, and launch of innovative products and services that respond to the needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and large corporates.

“We are pleased to see an upswing in our enterprise unit, Converge Business, and we’re bound to see more growth as we introduce new products and services that go beyond connectivity,” said Jesus C. Romero, Chief Operations Officer of Converge. “Our expansion into key tourism destinations like Boracay and Palawan will also bolster opportunities to tap both small and large companies in these areas.”

Converge Business recently made a push to the country’s biggest retailers at the National Retail Conference and Expo (NRCE), showcasing its enterprise grade solutions at the grandest retailers’ event of the year that represents a P600 billion industry.

Leonardo Baniqued, Converge AVP and Head of Innovation and Product Management, said in his presentation that because the Converge digital infrastructure is already laid out nationwide, it can enable emerging businesses in the budding ‘digital cities’.

“We have the broadest fiber network in the country and this means that our network is already available in cities that are just planning to shift to digital or even cities that are just being planned. Converge is there from the start,” said Baniqued.

Headlining the company’s product offerings is the flexiBIZ solution, an SME-tailored fiber connection that offers doubled speeds at either Daytime or Peak hours, and can reach up to 300 Mbps. On top of the connectivity, Converge also offers value-added services such as the Converge Workplace Automated HR and Payroll Solution, and the Hotel Management Software that can support both big and small companies.

Converge Workplace Hotel Management Solution is a cloud-based software that answers to the needs of MSME hospitality players. It equips small hotels and resorts with a direct booking system, room inventory management, and for medium sized accommodations, property management (management of front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, departments among others).

Converge also has the SweldoMo solution which is an automated human resources, payroll, and timekeeping solution.

Romero adds that Converge also expects additional revenues from its recent foray into the international wholesale market. “We have already set up a Singapore office which is now in full operation with the hiring of a general sales manager,” he said.

He noted investments in additional capacities in upcoming international cable systems and upcoming data centers prepare Converge to service more global companies and the wholesale market.
