Nissan continues to push the transition to electrified mobility with e-POWER technology

Nissan Philippines reinforces its expertise in providing exciting driving experiences as it continues its push for electrified mobility at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).

Headlining innovative and sustainable driving technologies, the Japanese brand’s display at this year’s MIAS focuses on electrification with e-POWER. This is in line with the show’s theme “Shaping Mobility”, which focuses on technologies that drive the future of the local automotive industry into a more sustainable path.

Nissan’s e-POWER is a 100% electric motor-driven system that provides a powerful and smooth drive powered by an electric motor and charged through an efficient gas engine. This delivers an EV-like drive that is powerful, smooth, and quiet without the need for external charging.

As part of Nissan’s transition to electric vehicles, e-POWER acts as a bridge between traditional ICE vehicles and full EVs, allowing customers to experience the future of mobility.

At Nissan’s MIAS booth, the brand will showcase its e-POWER technology through an experiential setup. A sneak peek of the upcoming Car Connected Services (CCS) platform will also be featured where attendees will see first-hand its capabilities and benefits. The CCS platform allows owners to control and monitor their Nissan vehicles using their smartphones. The LEAF, Patrol, Navara, Livina, Almera, and new Terra Sport will also make their appearance at the event to complete the brand’s lineup.

“This year’s MIAS theme, Shaping Mobility, resonates with Nissan as a brand because this is fully aligned with our Ambition 2030. We aim to create technologies and innovations that have an impact in the automotive sector and empower mobility. We have recently done this with our e-POWER technology which continues to break barriers in electrified mobility. We are very proud of e-POWER, and we are happy that the market fully accepts it. We are also excited to talk about our CCS technology, and we believe this is an important feature that will change the way we relate with our cars,” Nissan Philippines President Juan Miguel Hoyos shares.

The Manila International Auto Show will be held from April 13-16 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City from 10am-9pm.
