Globe Business continues to spark cultural change and inspire internal and external collaboration among industries and businesses for a greater shared future through its recent Leadership Innovation Forum (Lead-In) 2022.

With the theme “Synergy: Building Ecosystems from Within,” the award-winning event encouraged openness among participants to evolve their mindset and embrace ecosystems within their businesses and with other companies. It was attended by industry leaders (CEOs and other C-level executives, Directors, Managers, and other employees in management positions) from leading enterprises in the country.

Globe Business helps transform businesses into thriving ecosystems for them to achieve their goals and those of their partners and the society as a whole. This, in turn, will help boost the country’s economic growth.

“We recognize that great things come from small sparks. Synergy becomes second nature to everyone in your organization, forging unique, advantageous partnerships outside of them. This Lead-In is an opportunity to reach out, engage, and network. Who knows what partnerships you initiate here can lead to benefits not only for your business but the society at large,” Globe Chief Commercial Officer Issa Guevarra-Cabreira said in her opening remarks.

World-renowned local and international speakers took part in the event, led by Dr. Christian Busch, best-selling author and professor at New York University, who gave the Keynote Address.

Busch focused on why a culture of symbiosis and synergy allows everyone to prosper. The talk emphasized the need for enterprises to embrace ecosystems within their businesses and with other companies.

“Creating a culture of synergy makes it far more likely that we are able to see value in the unexpected. If we go alone, we can go fast. But if we go together, we can go farther. The unexpected can be a source of innovation, of joy, of partnerships, but only if we design our ecosystems, companies, and mindsets that way,” he said.

Meanwhile, Aileen Jiao, President and Country General Manager of IBM PH, talked about empowering teams by cultivating and nurturing a culture of ecosystem thinking and collaboration. Jiao stressed the importance of co-creation and having an ecosystem in place to come together.

For his part, Don Rae, Senior Advisor for Globe Business, Enterprise Group, emphasized the need to find partners with shared values and to work together to address larger issues and pain points.

The event also featured a fireside chat and a networking night, providing attendees with valuable insights and opportunities to meet and talk to each other.

Globe Business is a leader in innovation, focused on creating cultural changes that can positively impact the country’s economic growth.
