Hilton Manila dazzles as it brandishes ‘Treasures of India’ in Kusina Sea Kitchens to celebrate Diwali

There's no better way to celebrate the festival of lights and enjoy the a vibrant spread of authentic Indian cuisine than having an Indian Chef preparing for the distinctive, and mouth-watering Indian food. Thanks to Hilton Manila's new Senior Sous Chef Manish Thapa.

As India celebrates the festival of lights symbolizing the victory of light over darkness, Hilton Manila joins the celebration with its all-day dining restaurant Kusina Sea Kitchens with the launch of “Treasures of India” as part of its daily buffet offerings that kicked off last October 22. 

And there’s no better way to celebrate the festival of lights at Hilton Manila with authentic, distinctive, and mouth-watering Indian cuisine than having an Indian Chef taking the lead.

“We are delighted to present our loyal patrons with a vibrant spread of authentic Indian cuisine specially prepared by our new Senior Sous Chef Manish Thapa,” shares John Lucas, hotel general manager, adding, “Our team has curated a feast of rich and deep flavors that seamlessly blends with our other ‘open kitchen’ offerings such as the Japanese, Chinese, Western, and even the Filipino Paluto stations.”

‘Treasures of India’ buffet menu highlights include traditional favorites such as Golgappa pani poori, Prawn masala, Lamb Biryani, among others. Chef Manish will also present diners with healthy, vegetarian options as well as mouthwatering desserts Gulab jamun, Rasmalai and Mango lassi. Kusina Sea Kitchens’ buffet selection is available on weekdays for dinner, and on weekends for lunch and dinner, with prices from Php 2,480 net per person.  

Kusina Sea Kitchens indulges patrons with a premium buffet featuring fresh and sustainably sourced produce and ingredients. The restaurant, located on the hotel’s third floor, is also known for its different ‘open kitchens’ where guests can freely interact with the chefs and team members while partaking in the buffet offerings. The culinary team, which was recently hailed as the 2022 Philippine Culinary Cup Overall Champions – Professional Division, can also prepare select seafood and meats at the Paluto station a la minute, to the diners’ preference. 

Hilton Manila observes stringent health and safety measures in line with local government guidelines and Hilton’s own CleanStay initiative and holds the Department of Tourism “Safety Seal”.
