With the easing up of community quarantine alert level and curbing of travel restrictions, Duty Free Philippines Corporation (DFPC) lighted its Christmas tree to express gratitude and hope. Gratitude because despite the challenging years, Duty Free remains operational and very hopeful for better days to come.

Graced by DFPC Chief Operating Officer Vicente Angala and VIP Director and PIATA President Maria Paz Alberto led the simple but meaningful celebration at the LUXE, Duty Free’s premier retail store at the MOA Complex in Pasay City last November 12, 2021.

DFPC Chief Operating Officer Vicente Angala

“The lighting of the Christmas tree signifies the united strength of the DFPC during these challenging times; this shows that there is much to be thankful for as the company remains standing — tall and sparkling like the Christmas tree, as we continue to fulfill our mandate of operating a duty- and tax-free merchandising system to augment the country’s service for tourists and returning Filipino travelers,” said Angala.

The event formally ushers in DFPC’s celebration of the world’s merriest and busiest season. As early as October, the agency has been holding several in-store sale promotions as its flagship Fiestamall store in Paranaque City.

At Luxe, most of the popular brands in its wide range of fashion, perfumes, cosmetics and beauty items offer attractive deals and huge discounts.

Duty Free stores and outlets have remained open at Fiestamall, Luxe MOA, NAIA Terminal 1 (Arrival Gates 1 & 16), NAIA Terminal 2 (Arrival Area 15), NAIA Terminal 3 (Arrival Airside), Clark International Airport (Arrival & Departure), and Mactan-Cebu Airport Village.
