As Christmas holiday is fast approaching, our balikbayans and Overseas Filipino Workers can now maximize their shopping privilege from 15 days upon arrival is now 30 days. This means there is no need to rush in shopping for pasalubong and Christmas gifts for the family.
Apart from that, they can also enjoy the best and finest chocolates from the Philippines at the DUTY FREE PHILIPPINES.
This is in support to our SME in promoting further our country’s finest locally-made chocolate products such as Malagos Chocolate, Auro Chocolate, Theo & Philo Artisanal Chocolates, Manila Chocolatier and Risa Chocolates are now being sold at Go Lokal, Duty Free Philippines (DFP).
Thanks to the support and partnership with Department of Tourism (DOT) and DOT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, who also initiated this project to promote locally made chocolate products which can compete globally in terms of taste and quality.
Interestingly. the Malagos Chocolate’s 85% Dark Chocolate and Chocolate Rhum bagged silver awards and their 73% Dark Chocolate Ganache and Chocolate Salted Caramel bagged bronze awards at the International Chocolate Awards in Florence, Italy this 2018. And Auro Chocolate and Theo & Philo also received accolades at the 2018 Academy of Chocolate Awards in the United Kingdom last July.
Both Auro and Theo & Philip Chocolates all source out their cacao beans from Davao which is widely known as a top producer of world class cacao.
The Manila Chocolatier features fifteen praline of Pinoy’s favorite flavors like Buko Pandan, Ube, Leche Flan, Calamansi, Barako Coffee, Banana Cue, Pili Nut, Bucayo and more. This will certainly capture the hearts of our balikbayans that they are already at home. Of course, this would also pave way for our foreign guests to know and understand our culture and enjoy the sweet delights that the Philippines can offer..
Risa Chocolates is a modern Filipino chocolate company that uses local native cacao and works with our local farmers to preserve the Philippine native cacao varieties and help uplift the socio economic status of Philippine farmers.
