Get ready to take your taste buds on a gastronomic trip around the world as Shangri-La Plaza rolls out a delicious spread for mall guests at its crowd-drawing culinary event GourmetFest, happening at the Grand Atrium from October 18-21. Enjoy for days experiencing new flavors and revisiting old favorites as participating restaurants serve up an assortment of dishes from varied cuisine —- from European to American to Asian.

Mall guests can explore the festival to discover a world of delicious eats at special prices. They can also look forward to lived demos and workshops led by some best chefs in the country, and exciting promos from the restaurants.

At Brotzeit, diners go through an authentic German culinary experience, while Pasto offers a taste of signature Italian dishes. Rich Hispanic flavors come to life at Spanish bistro Wobbly Pan, where guests can indulge in tapas, paellas and more, while Balboa fuses American dining with Italian cuisine — both of which have restaurants found exclusively at the Shang, so don’t pass up on the chance to sample their fare. For those looking for something sweet and light, Paper Moon’s crepe cakes and La Creperie’s famous crepes are a must-try, paired with pick-me cup from Figaro or Bo’s Coffee Primo.

Discover Asian flavors with a twist as Teppanyaki chefs at Akira and grill masters at SumoSam take Japanese dining to the next level. Foodies will surely enjoy Zao, which offers taste of Vietnam, and take delight in Arya’s Persian cuisine as well. Spice things up at Thai BBQ and Pepper Lunch, or warm up with a bowl or two at Ganzo Shabuway. Shi Lin’s xiao long bao soup dumplings are also sure to be a crowd hit.

Those looking for more familiar fare will savor the all-American offerings from Kettle, Epicurious, and Tender Bob’s, as well as the unique sandwiches at Pepi Cubano. Fill up on pizza with a twist at California Pizza Kitchen, and don’t miss the spread by Red Crab,  where seafood lovers are sure to get their fill of fresh, juicy crabs.

Dine in any restaurant at Shangril-La Plaza from October 18 to November 18 with a minimum spend of P500, and you get one raffle coupon.

Beginner cooks and foodies can also look forward to discovering the ultimate culinary experience as Metro Channel and Metro Style launch the first leg of the Metro Kitchen Series on October 20, 3:00PM at the Grand Atrium. Inspired by the interplay of Filipino and Spanish flavors, culinary Chef Sandy Daza and Chef Robby Goco, as well ass Wobbly Pan’s Chef Ronaldo de Gracia, will be showcasing their masterful interpretations in their respective demonstrations.
