British Chamber supports PCAAE summit on leadership

The British Chamber supported the Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives (PCAAE) Leading with Agility Summit. Executive Director and Trustee Chris Nelson joined as a panelist alongside Maria Alegria S. Limjoco, Vice Chairman of the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) and Maria Victoria C. Españo, Governor of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP).

The discussion focused on the effect of the pandemic on associations and business operations. Chris Nelson highlighted the importance of supporting members and collaborating with the government and European chambers to promote the Philippines as a key investment destination with a promising outlook.

Last October, BirtCham joined the European-Philippine Business Summit which was moderated by British Chamber of Commerce Philippines Executive Director and Trustee Chris Nelson as he also revealed the efforts of the chamber in promoting the Philippines as a long-term investment destination. Apart from that, the successful and first UK-Philippines virtual trade mission has reinforced the interests of many UK companies in the Philippines amid the pandemic.
