The International Metalworking Philippines 2018 (IMTP2018), incorporating Smart Tech Manufacturing Philippines 2018 held another milestone event from August 22-25, 2018 at the World Trade Center Manila.

In partnership with the Philippine Die and Mould Association (PDMA), the IMTP2018 incorporating STMP2018, is one of the biggest industry exposition organized in the country with a strong support from 7 other industry Associations namely, Aerospace Industries Of The Philippines, Electric Vehicle Association Of The Philippines, Metalworking Industries Association Of The Philippines, Philippine Metalcasting Association Inc., Philippine (Auto) Parts Maker Association Of The Philippines, Mechatronics and Robotics Society of The Philippines and The Metals Industry Research and Development Center.

IMTP2018 has registered more than 200 international group participation and exhibitors from 11 regions & countries namely, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and EU.

About 75 Indian engineering firms, encompassing the entire value chain of the engineering industry, focused on trade and investment deals in the Philippines and other markets in South Asia is the biggest contingent participating in the IMPT2018, under the aegis of the EEPC India with active support of the Commerce Ministry.

“Empowering Growth for The Philippines Manufacturers”, the 2 days Smart Tech Manufacturing Conference 2018, features ten (10) International speakers from Asia, Europe and Philippines. Key presentations will focus on the Industry 4.0, IOT, Smart Tech Manufacturing, Automation and Robotics.

“We are most pleased that the inaugurate expo has received an overwhelming responses from the international exhibitors! More than 85% of our exhibitors are foreign companies and 24% of these exhibitors are exhibiting in Philippines for the very first time”, said Ms Sandra Tseng, Managing Director of Vision Exhibition Services Co., Ltd.

Manufacturing in the Philippine is expanding as demand grows rapidly. Thus, IMTP attracts a large number of foreign exhibitors to showcase a series of machineries. Except the VIP delegations from Japan and Korea, local manufacturers also will visit IMTP to seek trading opportunities. The registered group delegations at this point are: EPSON, Toyo Ceat, Tsukiden, IMI, YAMACHI, TOYOTA, YAMAICHI Phils, Rohm, Artesyn Embeded Manufacturing, TNS Global, etc., and the numbers are still going up. This mega event is expected to bring immense value to manufacturing industry of the Philippines.
