SEAOIL Philippines has generated more than ₱2.6 million in fuel savings for transport and delivery partners of Grab and MOVE IT through a strategic fuel discount program rolled out from March to April 2026.
The initiative forms part of the Grab Bayanihan Fuel Crisis Support Program, a broader effort designed to help driver-, delivery-, and motorcycle taxi partners manage rising operational costs amid continued volatility in global oil prices.
Through the partnership, Grab and MOVE IT partners gained access to exclusive fuel discounts and digital fuel management tools via SEAOIL’s PriceLOCQ app, with discounts reaching as much as ₱8.73 per liter.
The collaboration combines SEAOIL’s “Kabalikat Mo sa Hanapbuhay” campaign with Grab and MOVE IT’s fuel assistance initiatives aimed at protecting partner earnings and sustaining mobility services nationwide. Grab said it mobilized around ₱350 million for the Bayanihan Fuel Crisis Support Program from March to April through commission rebates, incentives, spot bonuses, and other partner-support measures.
“We are fully committed to this partnership because we understand that it is the transport and delivery professionals who are keeping our commuters and goods moving every single day,” said SEAOIL CFO and President for Retail Business Mark Yu.
“By giving them the tools to lock in fuel prices and access significant discounts, we are saving them money at the pump and helping them secure their livelihood,” he added.
GrabCar Philippines General Manager Gines Barot said the partnership demonstrates how industry collaboration can provide tangible support for transport professionals facing elevated fuel costs.
“Every peso saved on fuel is a peso that goes straight back to a driver’s family,” Barot said. “This milestone proves that when institutions come together, we can create a meaningful safety net for our transport professionals.”
MOVE IT General Manager Wayne Jacinto likewise emphasized the importance of easing the financial burden on rider-partners.
“By helping riders reduce their fuel expenses, we are helping protect their daily earnings while sustaining the essential mobility services they provide to Filipino commuters every day,” Jacinto said.
The program currently uses two key digital features within the PriceLOCQ platform: the Top-Up Liter Balance feature, which allows users to purchase fuel at current prices for future use, and LOCQPay, a scan-to-pay feature that provides instant fuel discounts at participating stations.
SEAOIL said the growing adoption of digital fuel management solutions reflects increasing demand for cost-efficient tools that can help transport workers better navigate periods of fuel price volatility.
The company added that more exclusive “Super Sale” fuel discount events are being planned in the coming quarters as the partnership expands support for thousands of Grab and MOVE IT partners nationwide.
