Globe is doubling down on fiber and enterprise solutions to strengthen its role as a key enabler of the Philippines’ digital economy under President and CEO Carl Cruz. The company’s clear strategic focus and disciplined execution are translating into tangible results, with higher data consumption and stronger monetization signaling growing customer trust.
In 2025, Globe expanded its fiber subscriber base by 43%, reaching 2.1 million broadband users from 1.7 million the previous year. Affordable offerings like GFiber Prepaid attracted over 820,000 subscribers by year-end, while fiber now generates 91% of total home broadband revenues. Beyond household connectivity, fiber empowers online learning for students, supports cloud and enterprise IT systems for businesses, and links remote workers across the country—ensuring more Filipinos participate in the digital economy.
“Customers only notice the network when it fails. Our goal is to make customer experience reliable and seamless,” Cruz said, highlighting Globe’s focus on network quality over price wars. Simplified strategic priorities and a performance-driven culture have reinforced Globe’s commitment to consistent, dependable connectivity.
Enterprise solutions are also seeing strong uptake. Through Globe Business, companies are adopting cloud platforms, AI tools, and cybersecurity solutions, while API-enabled capabilities like Number Verification APIs and the Bridge Alliance API Exchange allow secure innovation. Corporate data revenues hit a record ₱20.7 billion in 2025, contributing to overall service revenues of ₱165.1 billion.
“Mobile remains strong, but the real runway is in fiber and enterprise,” Cruz emphasized. Fiber is central to Globe’s strategy, powering fiber-to-the-home expansion, enterprise connectivity, tower backhaul, streaming, cloud adoption, and AI applications. By balancing mobile leadership with fiber and enterprise growth, Globe is building a future-ready, multi-network ecosystem to drive the next wave of digital transformation in the Philippines.
