The Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) has opened bidding for the construction of its Ready-for-Fit-Out (RFFO) Building Phase 1, a strategic infrastructure project aimed at strengthening the ecozone’s investment readiness and accelerating business entry.

With an approved budget for the contract (ABC) of ₱38.62 million, the project covers the construction of a ready-for-fit-out commercial facility within the APECO Corporate Campus in Casiguran, Aurora. The building is designed to enable investors and locator enterprises to commence operations faster by providing structurally completed spaces ready for interior customization.

The project is scheduled for completion within 300 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

“The ready-for-fit-out facility is part of APECO’s broader strategy to lower entry barriers for investors and create a business environment that supports immediate operational rollout,” said Gene Angel P. Ferrer, APECO Business Development and Marketing Manager and member of the Bids and Awards Committee. “This will help attract new investments, generate employment, and stimulate sustained economic activity in Aurora and nearby regions.”

Bidding documents are available from February 13 to March 10, 2026, for a non-refundable fee of ₱25,000, and may also be downloaded through the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the APECO website.

A pre-bid conference is scheduled on February 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., to be held in hybrid format at the APECO Main Office in Casiguran, its satellite office in Parañaque (Aseana City), and via Zoom. Bid submission and opening are set on March 10, 2026.

In parallel, APECO is also seeking bidders for additional infrastructure projects, including a ₱40.42 million Sewage Treatment Plant Phase 2 and the ₱8 million supply and installation of two 62kVA generator sets, underscoring its continued push to enhance utilities and support long-term investor confidence.
