Globe is accelerating digital inclusion across the Philippines by expanding its fiber footprint and making high-speed internet more accessible to the broader PH market. Through flexible prepaid offerings and portable connectivity solutions, the company is positioning premium broadband as an essential household utility rather than a luxury.
Globe Telecom’s home broadband business delivered solid results in 2025, generating P24.0 billion in revenues. The growth was driven by its fiber-led strategy, which more than offset the natural decline of legacy and fixed wireless services.
Fiber services now account for 91% of total home broadband revenues, a marked increase from 87% in 2024, underscoring the company’s successful pivot toward high-speed wired connectivity. The total broadband subscriber base expanded to 2.1 million by end-2025, up from 1.7 million the previous year, reflecting sustained demand across segments. Fixed wired customers, in particular, recorded a 40% year-on-year increase as more households shifted to stable and reliable fiber connections.
Leading the PH Mass Segment
GFiber Prepaid has emerged as the country’s fastest-growing prepaid fiber service, with its subscriber base surpassing 820,000 by end-2025. The offering continues to democratize internet access by providing high-quality connectivity without long-term contractual commitments.
To address rising demand for always-on connectivity, Globe also introduced the Globe At Home 5G WiFi loop in September 2025 — a plug-and-play device offering fiber-like speeds and unlimited access at home and on the go. Equipped with an Android touchscreen interface and built-in speakers, the device reflects Globe’s push toward portable, lifestyle-ready broadband solutions.
“Our 2025 performance serves as a strong springboard for the year ahead,” said Carl Cruz, President and CEO of Globe. “In 2026, we will continue scaling GFiber Prepaid and Globe At Home 5G WiFi to meet the evolving needs of Filipino consumers. Our goal is to stay ahead of demand through innovations that improve lives and empower communities.”
