PLDT Enterprise is strengthening its satellite-enabled connectivity offerings, building on its 2025 launch as the first and only Authorized Starlink Reseller in the Philippines for both public and private sectors.
The service is already being used by government agencies and enterprises, including the provincial government of Camarines Sur and SMS Global Technologies Inc. (SMSGT), supporting mission-critical operations, digital services for local communities, and resilient connectivity for education, healthcare, and disaster response.

Since becoming an Authorized Starlink Reseller, PLDT Enterprise has integrated Starlink’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology into its enterprise-grade solutions, enabling organizations in remote, disaster-prone, and hard-to-reach areas to stay connected. “Within a year, Starlink has reached customers across public sector, agriculture, banking, and other key industries, underscoring the growing adoption of satellite connectivity in underserved locations,” said Blums S. Pineda, PLDT SVP and Head of the Enterprise Business Group.
Starlink can now serve as primary internet access in remote locations or as a resilient backup for mission-critical operations. Pineda noted that the LEO satellite is part of a fully managed connectivity ecosystem, integrating fiber, wireless, managed SD-WAN, cybersecurity, data centers, and cloud solutions, giving businesses resilience and scale through a single provider.
PLDT Enterprise’s satellite strategy aligns with the group’s broader push to expand digital access using complementary technologies across logistics, energy, banking, agriculture, education, healthcare, disaster response, and public service delivery—leveraging the country’s most extensive digital infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
