Women entrepreneurs across the Philippines are being encouraged to take their businesses to the next level as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) rolls out a strengthened ₱2-billion credit facility designed specifically for women — now made easier to access through digital platforms.

To foster a more inclusive economy, DTI has designated ₱2 billion from the Small Business Corporation (SBCorp) fund for the Women’s Enterprise Fund (WEF) in 2026. The program supports women-led businesses ready to grow, hire more workers, and expand their economic impact — while also helping families gain stronger financial security.

“We continue to support women entrepreneurs seeking local and global expansion, while also opening opportunities for those ready to expand, create jobs, and strengthen local economies. We understand that capital is a challenge to many, and the DTI through SBCorp have tailored programs to meet the needs of our MSMEs like this Women’s Enterprise Fund,” Ma. Cristina Roque stated.

Borrow capital digitally — anytime, anywhere

Applying for business capital is now more convenient. Women entrepreneurs can file loan applications online through:

  • SBCorp Money App (Google Play & Huawei AppGallery)
  • Web app: app.sbcorp.ph

This digital access allows business owners to secure funding without leaving their shops, homes, or workplaces — making capital more reachable, especially for women balancing enterprise and family responsibilities.

Loan features tailored for women-led MSMEs

The Women’s Enterprise Fund offers flexible terms designed to help businesses breathe and grow:

  • Loan Amount: ₱30,000 to ₱20 million
  • Grace Period: No payment of capital and interest for the first year for eligible products
  • Repayment Terms: Up to five years
  • Collateral: Waived for loans up to ₱5 million

These features allow entrepreneurs to focus first on stabilizing operations, building inventory, and expanding markets before repayment begins.

Support available nationwide

For those who prefer guided assistance, DTI encourages applicants to visit any of the 1,431 Negosyo Centers nationwide. These centers help women entrepreneurs understand business opportunities, prepare requirements, and navigate DTI programs.

Interested applicants may also call the hotline 1-384 for more information.

With digital access, flexible terms, and dedicated support, DTI’s Women’s Enterprise Fund positions capital not as a barrier — but as a bridge for Filipina entrepreneurs ready to grow.
