MPower and Robinsons Land Corporation teamed up to empower young learners at San Pedro Central Elementary School in Laguna through a donation drive that provided essential learning tools and supplies.
Now in its sixth year, MPower’s Back-to-School Donation Drive, in partnership with One Meralco Foundation and Robinsons Malls’ R Love program, supports teachers and students with resources to enhance classroom learning. This year’s initiative benefited over 2,000 students and faculty, providing a television set, printer, educational books, paper products, reusable water bottles, disinfectants, and electric fans.
San Pedro Central Elementary, known for its Special Science Program and support for Special Needs Education (SNED), is the 37th school to benefit from MPower’s iMPower CSR program, while aligning with RLC’s R Eskwela initiative to rehabilitate and strengthen schools nationwide.
“At Robinsons Malls, we go beyond developing community spaces. We are equally committed to uplifting education and empowering young learners through our R Eskwela program. We are proud to continue our partnership with MPower in building supportive learning environments for the next generation,” said Joel Lumanlan, VP for Operations and Marketing at Robinsons Malls.
In addition to donations, MPower and RLC hosted a story-reading session to cultivate literacy and inspire a love for reading among students.
“MPower continues to strengthen its support for Filipino education in a rapidly changing world. With partners like Robinsons Land, we can push this initiative forward and brighten the future for our youth,” said Redel Domingo, Meralco Senior VP and MPower Head.
