The Meralco Power Academy (MPA), the energy education and training arm of Manila Electric Company (Meralco), honored 28 top-performing engineering students for completing its flagship summer internship program, Meralco Power Camp.
The 240-hour program combined immersive on-the-job training with project-based activities, designed to sharpen technical knowledge, strengthen leadership skills, and prepare future engineers to address the country’s evolving energy challenges.
Students hailed from leading universities across the country, including Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, University of San Carlos, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Technological University of the Philippines, Technological Institute of the Philippines, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, Mindanao State University–Iligan, and Mindanao State University–Marawi.
The interns were formally recognized during a graduation ceremony held on August 1, 2025 at Meralco’s headquarters in Pasig City.
