Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), has officially broken ground for its first-ever service station along the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) on August 19, 2025. The project highlights CPI’s continued expansion and commitment to providing convenient, modern, and reliable fueling services for motorists in Southern Luzon.

The groundbreaking ceremony gathered Chevron Philippines executives and partners from MPCALA Holdings Inc., the concessionaire of CALAX, marking a milestone in developing essential roadside facilities for the growing expressway network.

“We are proud to bring the very first Caltex station along the CALAX corridor, further supporting the needs of motorists traversing this strategic expressway,” said Pongtorn Tangmanuswong, General Manager of Chevron Philippines Inc. “Our commitment is to provide quality, cleaner, and reliable fueling options that meet the evolving demands of our customers.”

Arlette V. Capistrano, Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management of CALAX, welcomed the development: “This milestone is more than just new infrastructure—it reflects strong collaboration with Caltex and our shared goal of offering motorists a safe, clean, and dependable place to rest and refuel.”

The new Caltex service station is targeted to open by March 2026 and is expected to serve as a key stop for travelers, logistics operators, and nearby communities, enhancing the overall experience along the Cavite-Laguna Expressway.
