The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has reassured users and stakeholders that the eGOV Super App—the Philippines’ all-in-one digital government platform—remains stable and secure as it scales for national use.

In a post-SONA forum held in San Juan City on July 30, DICT Secretary Henry Aguda said the agency is working continuously to safeguard the platform’s reliability amid its growing user base and expanding service offerings.

“Bago namin ni-launch ‘yan (eGOV Super App), pinag-aralan namin mabuti ‘yung security aspect niyan,” Aguda said, noting that President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has emphasized the importance of ensuring the app’s stability and security, especially as more citizens and government services are integrated.

“Ang sabi ng Presidente, alam mo pag lahat na ng mga serbisyo nandiyan na at 80 milyong Pilipino ang gumagamit, hindi puwede mag-down ‘yan. Isipin mo na lang ‘di ba pagka isang segundo lang mag-down ‘yan, dami ng tatawag sa amin. So, sinigurado po natin ‘yan,” Aguda said.

The eGOV Super App currently offers more than 40 services from various national and local government agencies, providing users with a streamlined experience for everything from ID applications and permits to public health and transport access.

“Tuloy-tuloy po ‘yung pagtatrabaho namin sa departamento para masigurado na stable and secure ‘yung eGOV Super App,” Aguda assured, highlighting ongoing infrastructure improvements and security upgrades.

The DICT chief believes that the application will draw international recognition for its integration of government services into a single, mobile-accessible platform.

“Darating ang panahon, sasabihin nila only in the Philippines, mayroon ka ngayong app, lahat ng serbisyo, mapasa lokal na gobyerno, mapasa national na gobyerno, nagagamit na po, nakukuha niyo doon,” Aguda said.

As the government accelerates its digital transformation agenda, the DICT is positioning the eGOV Super App as a backbone of e-governance—paving the way for greater ease of doing business, investor confidence, and efficient citizen engagement.
