Meralco, PISI partner to advance steel industry in PH

In a recent strategic meeting, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) and the Philippine Iron & Steel Institute (PISI) came together to address the evolving economic and geopolitical challenges facing the Philippine steel sector.

The discussion, held at the Meralco Operating Center in Pasig City, was led by (2nd from left)) Meralco Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Manuel V. Pangilinan and PISI President Jojo Magsajo, together with Meralco leaders (leftmost) Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Ronnie  L. Aperocho and (rightmost) Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Ferdinand O. Geluz. 

Drawing on PISI’s industry data and expertise, both organizations engaged in a comprehensive dialogue aimed at identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships and investments that will reinforce the sector’s resilience and global competitiveness.
